UT Dallas Support
( SAP, Ranking Database, IIASC)
The University of Texas at Dallas is part of SAP’s
University Alliance Program and is one of only a few universities
offering courses with SAP integrated within courses at the graduate
and undergraduate levels.
In 2006, UT Dallas approved an enterprise systems concentration
at the graduate level for MBAs and master's degrees in accounting and information management and information technology management.
The courses included in the enterprise systems concentration are:
- AIM 6338 — Accounting Systems Analysis and
Design with SAP
- MIS 6319 — Enterprise Resource Computing
- MIS 6324 — Business Intelligence and Decision
Support Systems
- AIM 6349 / MIS 6302 — Corporate
IT Strategy and Management
- AIM 6379 — ABAP Programming (elective)
Experience Gained
- AIM 6338 (FI / CO is main focus) — SAP R/3
transactions and configuration hands on work with FI, CO, SD,
MM, PP Modules
- MIS 6319 — SAP R/3 transactions and configuration
(SCM focus) – SAP R/3 hands on
- MIS 6324 — database structure, business intelligence,
analytics
- AIM 6349 / MIS 6302 — overall
strategy and decision making - some SAP BW and SEM
- AIM 6379 — Understanding of customization of
enterprise systems, specifically SAP
Center for Information Technology Management will continue to host the UT Dallas rankings database
( The
UTD Top 100 Business School Research Ranking™ ) and
web server. In addition, the center will be adding significant support for
the new Enterprise Systems concentration.
The mission of the SAP
Users' Group (SUG) is to give every member a place to exchange
information related to enterprise resource planning topics, with
a focus on SAP.
The student chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors at UT Dallas (IIASC) is
committed to upholding the values put forth by the founders and
to enable the development of the next generation of auditors.
