Careers
The Center for Information Technology Management's (CITM) endeavor to wrap the business case around new and emerging
technologies is accomplished by providing internships, team projects
and partnerships with the business community.
CITM helps students identify their interests, skills, needs and
style before they enter into their careers while giving them a real world experience. The center has a friendly atmosphere that
is conducive for team work. While working with teams on various projects,
students learn vital lessons about project management, team management
and client management.
CITM's client list ranges across several verticals, offering students ample opportunities to choose an area of desired specialization.
CITM works on a wide spectrum
of technologies and focuses on upgrading its processes to meet the
growing demands of the industry.
Apart from playing the role of a business solutions provider, CITM
is involved in various research activities. The center encourages students
to work on research projects, which include topics such as
smart homes, Wi-Fi security, e-terrorism, leadership and electronic
textbook migration.
CITM sponsors numerous events ranging from an annual Microsoft certified
.NET training program to guest lectures from CEOs. Members of
CITM can take advantage of these events and activities.
