CITM was created to conduct research through
case studies a.k.a. “projects”
on the subject of Information Technology and Management. The
Center actively seeks partnerships with industry and governmental
entities along with other non-profit institutions that have
an interest in the application of Information Technology and
Management to their respective sectors.
The Center employs Faculty, Business Executives
and students at all levels to work on applied research projects
of interest to the community at large. Projects range from
student level involvement taking a semester to complete, up
to multi-year “Center-Level” projects that involve
faculty, executives-in-residence, and CITM staff. All projects
are contingent upon funding resources.
If you have a potential project that you
would like the Center to undertake, please begin the process
by completing the "Project
Request Form". To help you develop your potential
project, please consider the following aspects in relationship
to your information technology needs:
- What do you want the Center to do? i.e., what is the scope
of your project?
- What output do you want from the Center? For example,
do you want an analysis of an existing IT system with recommendation
for its enhancement? Or do you want a working solution to
your potential IT or Business problem?
- What parts of the project will be wholly completed by
the Center?
- What part will you, the client, play in the project?
- Are there any assumptions or limitations that must be
adhered to for this project to be successful?
After submitting the information requested
on the form, CITM staff will review your proposal. Please
allow at least ten working days for a reply. However, if you
have any questions, feel free to contact the center directly
at CITM at any time.
